By accessing or using Study Abroad Copilot (“the Service,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
Study Abroad Copilot is intended for use by individuals who are at least 13 years old. Users under the age of 18 represent that they have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Service and to enter into any paid subscription, and that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on their behalf where required by applicable law.
2. Description of Service
Study Abroad Copilot provides tools to help users track university applications and student visa processes for United States (F-1) and United Kingdom (Student visa) pathways, including checklists, progress tracking, a financial requirement calculator, and related organizational features. Study Abroad Copilot does not process, submit, or file any government or university application on the user's behalf.
3. Free and Paid Plans
Study Abroad Copilot offers a free tier with limited features and a paid subscription (“Study Abroad Copilot Premium”) billed at $3.99 per month, processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your chosen payment method until you cancel.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds are provided for the remainder of that period unless required by applicable consumer protection law.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information during onboarding.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems; (b) interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation; (c) use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission; (d) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service; (e) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (f) impersonate another person or provide false information; (g) attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any associated systems or networks.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Study Abroad Copilot (excluding user-submitted data) are owned by Study Abroad Copilot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, including the prohibited conduct listed in Section 6, at our discretion.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION TO BE DETERMINED WITH COUNSEL].
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
